Edit a Table You can add columns and rows, change the background colors, borders, or spacing within a table by clicking on the "Edit Table" button that appears beneath your table. The preview that is displayed will update to reflect the changes that you make. Column Options allows you to add or delete columns in your table. The "Add Column" button adds a column after the last column in the
table.
The "Set column widths" button takes you to the Height and Width page,
where you can define your columns and rows.
Row Options allows you to add or delete rows in your table. The
"Add Row" button adds a row after the last row in the table.
Each row and column displays buttons that allow you to perform several functions, as described below:
Table border draws a line around the table. You can specify the width and color of the border. If you do not want a border around your table, set the border width to 0. Cellpadding adds space between each cell border and the contents of the cell. You can increase or decrease the cellpadding by selecting the desired value from the dropdown list. Cell border adds grid lines between the table cells. You can turn cell border on or off and specify the color of the cell border. Table background color changes the background color of the entire table. The preview displays the background color of the table. To change the background color of an individual table cell, click on the Color link within that cell in the preview at the top of the page. Table width defines the amount of space that the table will occupy on the page. You can set the width in percentage or pixels. To set the width, enter a value and select the appropriate radio button. Note Each of your pages has a layout consisting of different page areas. You can choose a different page layout if you are not happy with the width that the current layout allows. To make a selection, click on the dropdown box and choose from the list of percent values. Printer friendly version allows you to add a button to your web site. When a visitor clicks the button, the table will display by itself on a new page so that it prints correctly. Close Help Window |
