Navigation Bar Properties All website designs include a navigation bar, which contains links to all the pages in your website. Navigation bars can be
vertical (displayed down the left or right sides of the page) or horizontal (displayed across the top of the page). To customize the navigation bar, either click the Edit Navigation button in the navigation bar
or in the toolbar, click Site Organizer, and then click the Navigation Bar Properties link.
From here, you can:
Choose whether the navigation bar will appear as text links or images. |
Decide which pages to include in the navigation bar. To hide a page, drag it to the "Pages not shown in the Navigation Bar"
group. |
Customize the appearance of text links by changing background color and text colors. To determine whether your design includes
this option, or to change the settings, click the "Change look" link. |
Choose the images that will display on the navigation bar. |
Click the "Select button images" link and choose images from the Picture Gallery. You can choose three different images for each item on the navigation bar - a navigation button image, current page image,
and a rollover image. |
Drag and drop links in the navigation bar to create up to four levels sub-navigation. On the finished navigation bar, these
appear as "sub-menus" that expand when you move the mouse over a link. |
